Singapore Polymers (SPC) produces EPT compounds

Singapore Polymers (SPC) announced that Singapore's SPC plant is producing Chemlon (R) Nylon 6 and 66 compounds developed by Chemical Polymers; SPC will also store engineering grade PET manufactured by Chemical Polymers.

SPC and Chemical Polymers are subsidiaries of Teknor Apex. Chea Sin Hua, Managing Director of SPC, said that the transfer of ETP technology from Chemical Polymers has enabled SPC to produce exactly the same compounds as its sister companies in the United Kingdom and the United States.

“The chemical polymer formula provided by SPC has been recognized by the United States and Europe and can be widely used in the electrical, electronic and automotive fields, which brings a great benefit to customers who produce export products,” said Mr. Cheah. “At the same time, in China, Western companies with supply requirements in other Asian countries can rely on the compounds produced by SPC, which are exactly the same as those provided by chemical polymer companies."
